Mud Jeans

Mud Jeans heeft meerdere ideeën waardoor we een stap naar een duurzamere wereld zetten. Zo kun je niet alleen jouw volgende paar jeans leasen in plaats van kopen, maar wordt er zo ongeveer 6.000 liter aan water bespaart in hun productieproces. 

Bij het circulaire merk Mud Jeans kun je spijkerbroeken leasen. Net als bij een auto lever je de jeans aan het eind van de looptijd weer in. 

Van de broeken die het jeansmerk terug ontvangt worden vervolgens weer gloednieuwe rollen denim van gemaakt. De nieuwe jeans bestaan voor 40 procent uit oude spijkerbroeken. 

De jeans worden geproduceerd in een fabriek waar gebruik wordt gemaakt van waterrecycling. En omdat de productie van 1 jeans wel 3.800 liter kost, is dit een enorme stap in de goede richting.

Circular jeans brand Mud Jeans lets customers lease its jeans (instead of buying). At the end of the lease term, the jeans are returned to Mud by the customer.  

The worn-out ones are being shredded in the shredder behind you. And will serve as the ingredient for new denim rolls that serve as the ingredient for a new pair of jeans. Mud jeans contain 40% post-consumer recycled material.

The jeans are produced in a factory that’s making use of water recycling. This is a huge step forward, even more so when realizing that it takes 3.800 liters of water to produce one pair of jeans.
