De gedachte hierachter is dat er jaarlijks 11 miljard meubels worden weggegooid, waarvan er maar een klein percentage gerecycled wordt. A Lott of Space tekent daarom voor verandering en maakt het mogelijk om een bank zo lang mogelijk bij je te houden én hiervan te blijven genieten. 

Toch blijft het zeker niet alleen bij dit innovatieve concept. A Lott of Space heeft grote plannen voor de toekomst, waarbij een abonnementsvorm voor banken, bio-based producten en een materiaalpaspoort waarin alle materialen die gebruikt zijn voor een bank zichtbaar zijn, de plannen vormen. Duurzame ideeën om de wereld duurzamer te maken. En dat is een initiatief wat wij bij TOMO graag verwelkomen.

Besides the concept of A Lott of Space, the inside of the couch is sustainable as well. This consists mainly of cutting waste, so you’re assured of some sustainability to sit on. The thought behind this idea is the fact that annually around 11 billion kilos of furniture is thrown away, and only a small percentage of this is recycled. A Lott of Space aims for change and makes it possible to keep a couch as long as possible, and to enjoy it, to reduce this waste.
